YOUR PARTNER IN PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY STRATEGIC FINANCIAL ADVICE

Graystone Capital provides comprehensive and efficient licensing solutions for strategic financial advisors built on a foundation of technical expertise and strong compliance.

About

Established in 2004, Graystone Capital is a privately owned Australian Financial Services Licensee (AFSL 245375) with expertise covering a wide range of core and specialist investment and financial planning areas.

With over two decades of experience, Graystone’s Management team understand the complexities of the financial services industry and the best way to efficiently provide comprehensive Financial Advisor, Paraplanning, Back Office and Practice support.

Our principal goal is to assist our advisors and authorised representatives in delivering meaningful financial advice that is tailored and strategic in nature. We work closely with our advisors by providing technical resources including legislative updates, compliance and audit services, ongoing education and revenue administration.

Services

Graystone’s already extensive and expanding Approved Product List (APL) provides the greatest opportunity for our advisors and authorised representatives to deliver the highest quality, professional and ethical advice to their clients.

We have a comprehensive list of financial and investment services with authorisations to provide advice in the following areas to both retail and wholesale clients:

PLATFORM

Graystone Capital utilises market leading trading platforms to assist its authorised representatives in providing timely investment advice.

Our third party execution, clearing and settlement providers offer competitive contract note pricing and allow the advisor to set and amend the brokerage rates charged to their clients. Our advisors implement a comprehensive and holistic approach when identifying their clients financial goals and establishing an investment strategy to best attain those goals.

Graystone currently offers two types of advisor/authorised representative:

Individual Authorised Representative (AR)

The difference between the two is that as an Authorised Representative, you would join Graystone’s advisory company directly as an individual.

Corporate Authorised Representative (CAR)

As a Corporate Authorised Representative you would have your own company with its own branding. Your company would then become a Corporate Authorised Representative of Graystone and the advisors within your company would also become authorised representatives.

Solution

We understand that costs are an important consideration for advisors when reviewing a financial services licensee and have tailored a flexible offering accordingly. We work with our advisors and authorised representatives to develop the most appropriate solution that best suits their specific situation. Our licence fees are paid monthly and can be fixed, floating or a combination of both and while we have our preferred practice management software providers, our advisors are free to choose what works best for their business. Generally, this results in an efficient and streamlined onboarding process for new advisors with minimal disruption to your business.

Graystone Capital has comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance coverage, which is included in its licence fees and provides its authorised representatives with ongoing training via the Kaplan CPD program.

With a strong focus on compliance, we have established a comprehensive set of guidelines, policies and procedures to assist our individual and corporate advisors to work within current legislation and regulations.

Graystone Capital is a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
